Shore Leave Convention
July 27-29, 202
Lancaster, Pennsylvania

It was great to return to Shore Leave! This year was different though because for the first time since I can remember, it was in a new location.  It was still great to see everyone.  I had a blast at the Meet the Authors party on Friday night and participated in some panels throughout the weekend.

Holiday in the Village Author Walk
December 2, 202
East Hampton, Connecticut

I was so luck to be invited to participate in a wonderful holiday event last weekend in East Hampton.  Local authors were invited to set up in a few shops on Main Street to share our books.  I was hosted by the Wildcraft Herb Shoppe and The Mane Salon who made us feel so welcomed.  We had a great time meeting readers and chatting with the shop owners.  And we even got to meet Santa!  I can now say that "The Witchfinder's Serpent" is Santa approved!

Barnes & Noble Book Signing
november 11, 2023 Barnes & Noble in the Enfield Commons
Enfield, Connecticut

The Barnes & Noble in Enfield was kind enough to invite me back to take part in a signing along with four other talented authors of books for children and young adults.  It was wonderful to meet the other authors and talk with people about my book.  I even got to see my book on a store shelf in the Young Adult section.  That was amazing!  Thanks once again to Darlene, Amy, and everyone at the store!

Presentation and Book Signing
October 30, 2023 East Granby Public Library
East Granby, Connecticut

The East Granby Library was kind enough to invite me to share "The Witchfinder's Serpent."  A nice group of people came out to hear about the history of Alse Young and the Connecticut witch trials and listen to a reading from my book.  I really appreciated the great questions and conversation.  I was especially honored to meet Amanda Thompson, a descendant of Alse Young who was kind enough to stay late and share some of her family history including maps and documents.  It was a great night!

Windsor Craft Fair
October 7, 2023 Windsor Town Green
Windsor, Connecticut

We had a great time at the Windsor Craft Fair and Chili Challenge.  While the weather may have been drab, nothing could dampen the spirit of Windsor!  Other than a few showers, the skies mostly cooperated.  I appreciate the support of the people of Windsor who were so kind and welcoming.  I was lucky to meet a lot of people and sell a bunch of books.  Despite the weather, it was a great day.

I was very honored to attend the Author Stage at the Glastonbury Arts "On the Green" Art and Crafts Show.  It was exciting to meet readers and the other authors who were taking part in the event.  Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side and the event was called early.  I want to give a big thank you to Kaitee, Sophia, and Meghan, and all the staff of the River Bend Bookshop for all their support and hard work!

Shore Leave 43
July 7 - 9, 2023 Delta Hotels Baltimore in
Hunt Valley, Maryland

The family and I attended the Shore Leave convention in Maryland this past weekend (as we’ve done for decades). I sold some advance copies of The Witchfinder’s Serpent which was very exciting. Someone told me that there were 3 steps to becoming an author: 1) writing the book, 2) publishing the book and 3) selling the book. Now I’ve done all 3! . Here are some photos.
